Just a small-town girl, hoping to make an impact on the world or whatever it was Journey said.

Hi, I’m Valery. Everyone calls me Val! I’m an advocate for mental health who struggles with calming my own mind from time to time. I’ll have you know that I am a very dedicated member of the anxiety club but more importantly the writer of OrganizedChaos, a blog about self-love, mental health, and DIY survival guide on life.

OrganizedChaos started out exactly how it sounds. As a simple task I gave myself to declutter my life… Organize the chaos within it! I already know what you’re thinking, easier said than done. When I say my OCD was ready, but my anxiety was not? I’m the girl with type 2 diabetes, years of built-up emotional trauma, and did I mention ANXIETY? I also get distracted easily which can get ya girl off track quick. ADHD, it’s a whole thing.

Which brings me back to this blog and the reason I believe God put a calling on my heart to start it. My goal is to encourage you to stop what you are doing, confront your chaos and take the time to organize it. Mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually… I understand it can be hard to find a light in the darkness, but I hope you always find it in you to give yourself grace. This world is hard enough without fighting a battle within yourself.

If you're looking for a blog that provides empathy and understanding, a good laugh when you need it, or maybe even some outfit inspiration, and more. You've come to the right place! I’ll be your go-to bestie. I don’t get called ValPal just because it sounds catchy.  I’m excited to share this journey with all of you. Writing gives me the tools to cope through difficult times but has provided me with a platform to share the unique perspective on life that God has given me.

P.S. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to a trusted adult.

Love always, ValPal!
